In April - A return to the larger, outdoor Music Cafe Stage as Sarah Potenza kicks off the

2nd Summer Series at the BMC&TL!

Road to Rome - PPP with Concert Info Text_Cropped.png

Nashville-based songwriter, activist and vocal powerhouse

Sarah Potenza

will release her second solo album, titled 'Road To Rome,' on International Women's Day, March 8th. Rolling Stone says "New album ‘Road To Rome’ captures the huge voice and defiant spirit of Sarah Potenza". And on April 27th, The Big Boss - Sarah Potenza, will bring all that, plus her Hoss, Ian Crossman on hot baritone guitar, in a return to the Bootleg to kick off the second year in a row, (and this will only be the 2nd year, so it’s a tradition already) the Summer Series on the Music Café outdoor stage!

Misner & Smith

Misner & Smith can shake the walls like a freight train and then quiet the room to a whisper in a single song.

With two singers who could easily lead a band independently, Sam and Megan sing with one voice, with music that captures longing and belonging in the same moment.

The band’s sound harkens back to the bedrock of american rock & folk, but the diversity of styles and genres are one of the things that set M&S apart.

Close your eyes and you’ll be swept up in a sound that you’ll swear is a full band. The combination of musical dexterity and vocal prowess packs a punch that will linger with you for a long time to come.

Katie Kuffel lit up the Tiki Lounge in November, and now the Trio returns to the Music Café stage to bring her original music to a larger audience. Her first Bootleg Concert was highlighted in the Sac Bee Tickets Sections: “Upon opening up Katie Kuffel’s sensuous new record “Take It Up,” rich aromas of Regina Spektor or Norah Jones will immediately waft up. The comparisons are as well-deserved as they are apropos, but this collection of songs feels like a potentially self-defining “hello, world” moment for a Seattle songwriter teeming with sultry, refined classical talent and a corralled intensity that holds on just tight enough to ensure safety while traversing its emotional rawness.”
